Moya is described by her creators as the world’s first fully biomimetic embodied intelligent robot, meaning she perceives, reasons, and acts in the physical world rather than functioning solely as software. Footage from Shanghai shows Moya walking with a gait closely resembling a human’s, maintaining eye contact, smiling, nodding, and displaying subtle micro-expressions.
